Manuscript Submission Fee (MSF)

Authors are required to pay a US$25.00 fee when submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Medical Practitioners (JMP).

Article Publishing Charges (APCs)

The following are the APCs charged by the JMP upon acceptance of the article:

Terms & Conditions

  • MSF and APCs apply to original articles and review articles only.
  • Taxes may be applied to qualifying transactions.
  • APCs are subject to change and are invoiced at applicable rates on the submission date.
  • Manuscripts whose corresponding authors are based in Pakistan or countries classified as low-income economies by the World Bank as of July 2023 are subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

All submissions to the JMP are free until 31st December 2024. 

Why Do We Charge Submission Fee & Publishing Charges?

We charge submission and publication fees to cover the costs associated with the publication process, including managing incoming submissions, maintaining our peer review system and online platform, and providing financial support for editors and boards. These fees also cover plagiarism checks, content enhancement through copyediting and typesetting, taxes, legal consultations, online hosting, and archiving, offsetting publication expenses, and ensuring abstracting and indexing. We strive to keep our fees competitive while ensuring that we can continue to provide high-quality editorial services and maintain the integrity of our publication process.
