This policy explains when Logixs Journals refunds Article Publication Charges (APCs) and other fees. Where an individual journal's charges differ, the journal's Publication Charges page sets out its specific fees.
APCs are invoiced only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. A paid APC is refunded in full where:
Once an article has been published, the APC is not refundable, including where the article is later corrected or retracted.
Where a journal charges a withdrawal fee, it is not refundable once paid, except where the fee was charged in error or the withdrawal resulted from an error or delay on the part of the journal.
Print subscriptions are not refundable once the order has been placed. Requests for refunds on other services, such as advertising, are assessed case by case according to the service and its stage of completion.
Refund requests should be sent to [email protected] within 60 days of payment, with the invoice number and the reason for the request. Requests are handled by the publisher and are independent of the editorial process. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 30 days of approval. Bank or transfer charges incurred in making the original payment are not refundable.
Requests that fall outside this policy are considered case by case by Logixs Journals. Authors who disagree with a decision may ask for it to be reviewed by a senior member of the publisher's staff who was not involved in the original decision.
