Dr. Faiza Sarwar is a dedicated clinical microbiologist and academic with over 15 years of laboratory experience and more than seven years in teaching medical and allied health sciences. She currently serves as a Lecturer in Microbiology at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, and as a Medical Technologist in the Department of Pathology at Sheikh Zayed Medical College/Hospital. She earned her PhD in Microbiology from Government College University, Faisalabad, with top distinction, following her MPhil from Government College University, Lahore, and undergraduate training in Medical Laboratory Technology at the University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Her professional contributions include extensive diagnostic work across microbiology, hematology, histopathology, and chemical pathology, alongside academic leadership as the In-charge of the BSc (Hons) Medical Laboratory Technology program since 2014. Dr. Sarwar's research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, Gram-negative bacterial pathogens, extended spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs), and thalassemia diagnostics. Her scholarly output includes over 20 peer-reviewed publications in indexed journals, including Microbial Drug Resistance, The Professional Medical Journal, and Pakistan Journal of Medical and Health Sciences. She has also participated in various national and international biosafety workshops and presented on topics ranging from Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever handling protocols to pandemic preparedness and antimicrobial stewardship. A recognized biosafety leader by the American Society for Microbiology, Dr. Sarwar has actively contributed to the organization of scientific workshops and awareness programs. Dr. Neethu Asokan is an accomplished microbiologist and educator with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Life Sciences at Sri Satya Sai University for Human Excellence, Karnataka, India. Dr. Asokan holds a PhD in Microbiology from Periyar University. Her research interests span a wide array of disciplines, including industrial microbiology, microbial biotechnology, psychomicrobiology, algal biotechnology, and bioenergy. She has contributed significantly to the fields of bioremediation, antimicrobial resistance, nanobiotechnology, and microbial therapeutics. As Principal Investigator, she has led funded projects in bioremediation and herbal therapeutics, and she has mentored postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD-level research. Dr. Asokan has authored and co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, more than 20 book chapters, and several textbooks with international publishers including Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, CRC Press, Bentham, and Wiley. She holds multiple design patents (Indian and UK) in biomedical and environmental innovations and serves as an editorial board member or reviewer for a number of high-impact journals, including Springer Nature, BioEnergy Research, and 3Biotech. She is also affiliated with global academic networks such as the American Society for Microbiology, European Federation of Biotechnology, and Global Harmonization Initiative. A recipient of several national accolades including the Young Scientist Award, Best Young Faculty Award, and Outstanding Teacher Award in Microbiology, Dr. Asokan continues to lead interdisciplinary initiatives, organize international symposia, and contribute to community outreach and science communication. Her work reflects a dynamic commitment to advancing sustainable solutions in microbiology and life sciences.

Mr. Adamu Nuhu Lawan is a seasoned nurse educator and perioperative nurse with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and health research. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Nursing Science at Modibbo Adama University, Yola, Nigeria. He holds multiple nursing certifications, including Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse Educator (RNE), and Registered Perioperative Nurse (RPON), alongside a Master of Science in Nursing and a Fellowship of the West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (FWAPCNM). He is presently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at the University of Calabar. Mr. Lawan has held leadership positions in several academic and clinical settings, including serving as Chief Nurse Educator and Examination Officer at renowned institutions such as the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. He has also completed international academic training under the Fulbright Program at Rutgers University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. His experience spans teaching, clinical supervision, healthcare informatics, and diabetic care education. His research interests include surgical-patient education, diabetes care, immunization practices, and the integration of ICT in nursing education. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading national journals and co-authored a book titled An Easy Approach to Nursing Process. Mr. Lawan also serves as Editor of the Tropical Journal of Nursing, contributing to the advancement of nursing scholarship across West Africa.
