The Bulletin of Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Research (BPMR) is pleased to announce the release of its second volume, Volume 2, 2023. Among the highlights, Unzila Faheem's original article, "Understanding the value, perceptions, and challenges of research among pharmacy undergraduates in Jamshoro, Sindh," offers valuable insights into the research engagement of pharmacy students. In a viewpoint piece, Samar Mohamed Nasralla discusses "Herbal cosmetics products and formulations on the market, from past to present," exploring the evolution and current trends in herbal cosmetics.

Other significant contributions include Anum Farooq's study on "Consumption and knowledge of dietary supplements among young adult women in Lahore, Pakistan," Khushbu Khalid's research on "Evaluating the pharmacokinetic parameters of a single dose of oral disintegrating tablets in elderly patients with hypertension and hyperlipidemia," and Ayesha Aleem's comparative analysis of "Antihypertensive drugs for hypertension and gestational hypertension among women in tertiary care hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan." Additionally, Iram Amanullah assesses the "Over-the-counter medication use among pregnant women visiting public and private tertiary hospitals in Lahore, Pakistan."

BPMR remains an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, welcoming empirical and theoretical contributions that inform current research, policy, and practice in pharmaceutical and medicinal sciences. The journal covers a broad range of disciplines, including pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, and pharmacy practice.
