Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan is an Associate Professor at the Health Services Academy and serves as the Program Coordinator for the BS Public Health program. He completed his PhD in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, where his research focused on the socio-cultural factors influencing adherence to the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes in rural Sargodha. He holds a Master of Philosophy in International Development Studies from Iqra University, Islamabad, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist, and an MSc in Anthropology from PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi. Dr. Khan is a renowned academician and researcher with extensive field experience. He has held various academic and research positions, including Senior Lecturer at Bahria University and Assistant Professor at the University of Central Punjab. His professional roles also include PhD supervision at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, and guest lectures at the Nuffield Centre of International Health and Development, University of Leeds. With a prolific publication record, Dr. Khan has authored numerous research articles and books, including "Lifestyle Change: An Anthropological Perspective" and "Gender, Pakistan, and UN Peacekeeping." Dr. Hassan Bin Usman Shah holds a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Public Health and a Masters in Public Health from the University of New South Wales. Ruhamah Yousaf is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lahore and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Health Sciences from Lincoln University College, Malaysia. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Public Health from the University of Lahore, where she graduated with distinction. Ruhamah has extensive experience in respiratory therapy, having worked as a respiratory therapist at Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences and as a Lecturer Assistant at Gulab Devi Chest Institute of Paramedical Sciences. Her research interests include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, health-related quality of life, and public health interventions.
