Dr. Muhammad Ahmed Abdullah is a Ph.D. in Public Health from Health Services Academy, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. Currently, he is serving as Head, Department of Community Medicine & Public Health at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Pakistan. Dr. Abdullah is a public health professional with more than ten years of teaching and 15 years of clinical medicine experience. He regularly contributes to national newspapers focusing on public health issues and has published several research articles in national and international journals. His core areas of interest include health systems, infectious diseases, primary care, and mental health. In addition, he understands societal issues due to his extensive clinical exposure at the primary healthcare level. Dr. Abdullah is an avid reader, and apart from his core competence areas, he has a particular interest in behavioral biology, psychology, philosophy, comparative religions, and history.
