Dr. Muhammad Sheraz Afzal Malik is a highly accomplished psychiatrist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and academia. He holds an FCPS in Psychiatry from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, a Diploma in Psychiatry, and is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), UK. Additionally, he has completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the UK. Currently serving at the Armed Forces Institute of Mental Health (AFIMH), Rawalpindi, Dr. Malik leads the Autism Centre and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, he has held key positions, including Consultant Psychiatrist and Associate Professor in Pakistan's leading medical institutions. His teaching experience encompasses undergraduate and postgraduate psychiatry education, mentoring FCPS and MCPS trainees, and contributing to curriculum development. Dr. Malik has facilitated numerous workshops and delivered lectures on critical topics such as communication skills, stress management, and childhood psychiatric disorders.
