The Journal of Social & Health Sciences (JSHS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to providing a national and international forum for the dissemination of scientific knowledge in all aspects of social and health issues. We invite empirical and theoretical contributions in the form of original articles, reviews, case studies, case reports, viewpoints, communications, letters to the editor, and commissioned editorials. These contributions aim to inform current research, policy, and practice in areas of interest to health practitioners, social scientists, and policymakers.
Read moreProfessor Shakila Zaman is a Community Paediatrician and an academician by profession and holds a PhD degree in Epidemiology and Clinical Immunology from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. Professor Shakila has more than 45 years of teaching and research experience at various national and international institutes. During her professional career, she has headed the Health Services Academy in Islamabad and the Institute of Public Health in Lahore, initiating her career in public health.
