The Journal of Basic & Clinical Medical Sciences (JBCMS) is a fully Gold Open Access journal. All articles are freely available online in full text immediately on publication, with no embargo, subscription, or registration required.

JBCMS supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative, of which the journal, its owner, and its publisher are signatories. In line with the Initiative's definition of open access, anyone may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of JBCMS articles, and use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking permission from the publisher or the authors.

License and Copyright

Authors retain copyright in their work. Articles, including supplementary material and video abstracts, are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows anyone to share and adapt them, including for commercial purposes, provided the original work is properly cited. Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit any version of their article in institutional or subject repositories, with no embargo. See the Repository Policy.

Business Model

JBCMS covers its publishing costs through Article Publication Charges, invoiced only after acceptance, print subscriptions, and advertising. There are no submission fees, and authors who are unable to pay may request a waiver. Neither publication charges nor advertising has any influence on editorial decisions.
